Biography
Arpana Vidyarthi is a General Internist (American Board of Internal Medicine Diplomat) and a global leader in leadership development, quality and safety, and graduate medical education. Dr. Vidyarthi has developed and conducted a variety of Leadership Development seminars and trainings worldwide for physician groups, hospitals, medical schools, and corporations. She is a certified executive coach, and also holds certifications in MBTI and FIRO-B. Specifically, Dr. Vidyarthi focuses on self-leadership (self-awareness, self efficacy, executive presence) developing others (mentoring, situational leadership, coaching) and teamwork (working with and through others, communication, organization) She is a deep understanding of and facility in issues of gender and cultural diversity. She has developed, taught, and evaluated leadership programs for the Singapore Ministry of Health, Duke-NUS Medical School, and the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) (Institute for Physician Leadership and the IPC- UCSF Fellowship for Hospitalist Leaders).
