Dr Gene Chan

Biography

Dr Gene Chan is a Senior Consultant with the Emergency Department, National University Health System. She obtained her medical (MBBS) degree from the National University of Singapore followed by post graduate degree in Emergency Medicine (MRCSEd A&E). Dr Gene Chan joined the NUHS Emergency Medicine Residency Programme as core faculty in 2015. Her main teaching interests are in airway management and the use of bedside ultrasound in clinical practice. She is involved as teaching faculty for ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support, EAMC (Emergency Airway Management Course) and AACES (Alexandra Academy for Clinical & Emergency Sonography).
