Biography
Dr Wu is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004 with a PhD degree. In 2005, he was awarded the Young Investigator Award by the National Healthcare Group. In 2013, he was awarded the College of Surgeons Gold Medal from the Academy of Medicine Singapore. He completed one year of fellowship in robotic surgery in Cambridge University Hospital in 2016. During this one year, he gained extensive and valuable experiences in robotic surgery. Dr Wu is currently working as an Associate Consultant and Deputy Research Director in Department of Urology, National University Hospital. He is also a Clinical Tutor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. In terms of research, Dr Wu’s interest lies in translational and clinical research in cancer and medical devices. He is a member of the Singapore Urological Association. He is also a committee member of Youth Section of the Urological Association of Asia.
