Biography
Prof.Brian W Dymock has received his PhD in University of Glasglow, UK during the period of 1997. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in University of Singapore. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Department Manager, Discovery Chemistry, Evotec, UK, Visiting Associate Professor, NUS Department of Pharmacy, Singapore. He has authored 62 research articles. He is a full member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC), UK and member of the American Chemical Society, USA .
Research Interest
• Fragment screening using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) and Weak Affinity Chromatography (WAC) • Hydrogen sulfide donor compounds as cardiovascular and anticancer agents • Designed Multiple Ligands (e.g. HDAC-HSP90, HDAC-JAK combination drugs) • Novel inhibitors of Histone Methyl Transferases (HMTs) • Novel inhibitors of kinesin enzymes • Targeting p53 modulators to cancer cells • Selective Inhibitors of mTOR kinase
