Biography
Weiyi's main stream of research examines the careers of high potential entrepreneurs in the technology sector through the lens of computational sociology. His research has received awards such as the Kauffman Dissertation Fellowship and has been featured in media outlets like the New York Times. Prior to NUS, he worked in the defense industry as a computational physicist. He holds a PhD. and MS. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley and two A.B., summa cum laude, in both Physics, and History, Philosophy and Social Studies of Science and Medicine (HIPS) from the University of Chicago.
