Biography
Dr. Vijay K Sharma is currently working as Associate Professor at YLL School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Singapore and as Senior Consultant, Division of Neurology, National University Hospital, Singapore. He is the current recipient of the prestigious Clinician Scientist Award from National Medical Research Council, Singapore. He has published 187 peer reviewed scientific papers and 19 book chapters. 1. Thrombolysis in acute stroke, especially sonothrombolysis. 2. Blood pressure management in acute ischemic stroke. 3. Advanced applications of transcranial Doppler in cerebrovascular diseases. 4. Intracranial stenosis 5. Assessment of cerebral hemodynamics with cerebrovascular ultrasonography.
