Zhang, Weiqi

Biography

Weiqi Zhang is a visiting fellow in the Department of Finance, National University of Singapore. She is Junior Professor of Finance at the Muenster School of Business and Economics, University of Muenster, Germany. Prior to that, she was a visiting fellow in Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Weiqi has taught various courses such as Investments, Portfolio Management, Financial Instruments and Markets, Empirical Financial Research, and Introduction to Finance etc. Weiqi’s research interest includes empirical asset pricing and empirical corporate finance, especially in the area of forecasting risk premiums, equity offerings, and investment strategies. Her research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Management Science. Weiqi obtained her PhD in Finance from NUS Business School and bachelor’s degree (with honors) from National University of Singapore.
