Biography
Mr Wong holds directorships in local and overseas companies such as NTUC Fairprice and Vietnam Growth Fund. He joined Temasek in 1980 and over the next 27 years of his career his job scope included investments (direct, funds, listed and private equity), divestments, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring of companies, and corporate governance. He retired in 2008 as Managing Director (Investments) and concurrently Temasek’s Chief Representative in Vietnam. He is now Advisory Director for Temasek. Mr Wong holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Singapore and has completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School
