Biography
Dr Lee Yuh Shan is a consultant from department of Hematology, SGH. He graduated from University of Malaya and had his earlier years of training in Malaysia. He joined department of Hematology, SGH in 2008 where he started his training in hematology. He completed his training in 2011 and also obtained his fellowship of The Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) in 2013. Beside his clinical work, he is also active in education program for undergraduate, resident and hematology trainee. Currently, he is a senior mentor for Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He has been working in Singapore General Hospital since 2008 and received gold award for Singapore Health Quality Service Award in 2013 as well as Singhealth service with a heart award (Gold) in 2016. Dr Lee has special interest in lymphoproliferative disease and is actively involved in multiple pharmaceutical sponsored trials and investigator-initiated trials. He was attached to National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, US in 2014 for one year under postdoctoral fellowship program to focus on his interest in lymphoma, especially on using immunotherapy for the treatment of lymphoma. He has published in several peer-reviewed journals such as Lancet Oncology, British journal of hematology, hemophilia and had oral/poster presentation in a few international hematology meetings.
