Biography

As a Master of Public Health graduate with specialisation in Health Program Evaluation, I have asked myself throughout my journey, "How can I create a meaningful impact to society?". From my Master’s thesis project, I successfully completed the Process Evaluation of improving mental health for young people using a complex intervention strategy which enhanced my evaluation and research skills. Back during my Honours thesis year, I developed valuable clinical research skills and gained experience in clinical trials management whilst working on my project on the Correlates of Depression and Emotional Well-being in People with Diabetes and Diabetic Retinopathy. Not only did I gain valuable skills, I quickly found that I had the innate desire to help people and how satisfied I was while doing it. THIS was the impact I can make to improve the lives of people; through the Healthcare, Medical, Research & Innovation industries. I joined GSK as the Regulatory Affairs Lead for the GSK-Novartis Oncology and Vaccines transaction for Malaysia and Brunei, starting off my experience in GSK Singapore. My experience has taught me that my professional value can be boiled down to the following: o I adopted not only Regulatory skills but relevant Leadership, Management & Quality skills. o I have the open mindset to take on challenges and plan, prioritise and execute strategies effectively. o I have a positive outlook on situations and bring the spirit of my team to greater heights. o I have big expectations for myself and work hard and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines.
