Biography
Mathias graduated with a Master degree’s in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia, Adelaide, Australia. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Health (Physiotherapy) from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, Netherlands and a Physiotherapy Diploma from the Professor Grewe School in Osnabrück, Germany. He worked since 1999 in several private clinics in Germany and Singapore. Mathias is an expert in the treatment of sport injuries, musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. He is a certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist (OMT-DVMT®-Maitland Concept) and a Certified Kinesio Taping Instructor (CKTI). Furthermore he underwent special training and is a certified therapist for Manual Therapy (Kaltenborn Concept), Manual Lymph Drainage / Complete Decongestive Therapy (MLD/CDT) and Brügger-Therapy. In 2004 Mathias did a 3 month PNF-postgraduate training program in Vallejo, California/USA which emphasizes in the treatment of neurological conditions such as stroke. Within the last years he has developed a strong interest in pain science and chronic pain management. In his spare time he enjoys running, playing soccer and spending time with his family.
