Biography
Marcus is an ex-professional rugby player and national youth athlete in England who graduated from the London school of Osteopathy BSC Honours in 2007. With 15 years of experience, he has treated a diverse group of people, including international rock climbers, strongmen, track and field athletes, many personal trainers, martial art fighters and professional dancers. His passion in Osteopathy treatment goes beyond his current clinical practice, as seen through his active collaborations with Yoga Collective, Spartans Fighting Club and Climb Asia. Some of you may know him from being actively involved in a series of sponsored events and competitions such as the Boulderactive, Rockmaster & National Schools bouldering Championship in 2016. Prior to being an osteopath, Marcus was a professional rugby player from 1995 to 1997 at Richmond RFC. Marcus was also the South of England Junior Judo champion in 1988, representative levels at rugby and athletics (decathlon) from 1988 to 1995. He currently enjoys practicing MMA and inventing his own training exercises. He was also personal trainer for 10 years. He has also worked in many sports clinics in and around London, most notably in Sevenoaks, Kent and Camberley, Surrey. Marcus then went on to build a successful clinic in Thailand for 4 years and has worked here in Singapore for the last 5 months. Marcus specialises in all sports injuries especially painful conditions like acute and chronic shoulder conditions, bicep tendonitis, impingement syndromes, rotator cuff injuries, labral tears, headaches and migraines, disc injuries, neurological impingements, knee injuries (meniscus/ ACL/ runner's knee/ patellofemoral syndrome), hip impingements/ labral tears, back/ neck pain, elbow and wrist pain, foot and ankle pain, pre- and post-operative therapy.
