Biography

  Consultant Family Physician in Raffles Executive Medical Centre Medical Director for Raffles Medical Clinics Adjunct Assistant Professor of Dukes-NUS Graduate Medical School Assistant Program Director of NUHS FM Residency Programme Tutor of Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine Supervisor of Family Medicine Fellowship Programme, Singapore College of Family Physician Adjunct preceptor of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine  Dr Chng obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Flinders University of South Australia in 1994. He joined Raffles Medical Group in 1997. He was promoted to Deputy Medical Director in June 2007 and subsequently to Medical Director in January 2014, overseeing clinical matters in the Raffles Medical clinics in Singapore. He practises as a consultant Family Physician in the Raffles Executive Medical Centre in Raffles Hospital. He is involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate Family Medicine training. He was appointed by Dukes-NUS Graduate Medical School as Adjunct Assistant Professor in April 2016 for his involvement in clinical teaching for the Dukes-NUS medical students. He is currently a member of the Family Physician Accreditation Board and the Family Medicine Residency Advisory Committee that are set up by the Ministry of Health, Singapore. He volunteers as a visiting family physician at the Rochor Kongsi Home, sponsored by the Asian Medical Foundation.
