Paul Chia Min Wee

Biography

Dr Chia graduated from NUS in 2000 and obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and Masters of Medicine in 2006. After completion of the Basic Specialist Training in Internal Medicine, he went on to Advanced Specialist Training in Dermatology at the National Skin Centre and CGH. He qualified as a dermatologist in 2011, and was awarded the Best Candidate by the Chapter of Dermatologists. He was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore and the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh). In 2011, he pursued a fellowship in dermatologic & Mohs micrographic surgery and skin cancer at Ninewells Hospital under the tutelage of Dr Colin Fleming (President, British Society for Dermatological Surgeons). He also underwent training in nail disorders and nail surgery under the mentorship of Professor Eckart Haneke in the Department of Dermatology, University Hospital Inselspital, University of Berne, Switzerland. He is a Fellow of both the American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons and the American Society for Mohs Surgery.
