Dato’ Wei Chuan Beng

Biography

Dato' Wei is the Group Managing Director of REDtone International, a leading alternative communications and multimedia company in Malaysia and the first in its industry to be listed on the MESDAQ market. As one of the founders of the REDtone Group, Dato' Wei is instrumental in spearheading the Group’s growth by taking charge of the management of the Group’s overall business and expanding its overseas markets. Dato' Wei possesses over 20 years of strong expertise in the IT, electronics and telecommunications industries. He is a highly respected authority figure in the ICT industry in Malaysia and has been invited to serve as a member of the National IT Council, chaired by the Prime Minister of Malaysia.   Dato' Wei is also well regarded in the business community, serving as the Integration Chairperson for the Malaysian chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a network of globally established CEOs. Dato' Wei holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Technology, Malaysia and successfully completed the Entrepreneur Development Program from the renowned MIT Sloan School of Management in 2006.
