Biography
Mr. Tan is the Co-founder and CEO of REKA Health. Before founding REKA Health, Mr. Tan headed a successful product development company based in Singapore, garnering extensive experience in product portfolio management and product positioning. The company was responsible for managing many projects across diverse industries, serving prominent multi-national clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Siemens, Wincor Nixdorf, Infineon, Clarion and Olympus. Mr. Tan also previously served as a product engineer with Motorola and Identive (formerly SCM Microsystems), taking charge of large-scale product development projects and launches during his time there. In the course of his career, Mr. Tan has consistently demonstrated the ability to put in place systems and processes to develop world-class products that satisfy the needs of customers. His key expertise lies in his ability to not only design and develop innovative and user-centered products, but also to successfully bring them to market in a profitable manner. Mr. Tan is also the inventor of multiple patents and is well versed in key product development and technology methodologies. Mr. Tan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hon) degree from University of Technology, Malaysia.
