Biography
Dr. Ang is trained in neurosurgery at the NNI and at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. During his residency, he carried out bench research in myelination and oligodendroglial biology. His clinical sub-specialty interest is in endoscopic skull base surgery and neuro-oncology. His reserach interest is primarily in devising precision medicine for glioblastoma and he co-leads the NNI neuro-oncology lab with Dr. Carol Tang. He is an NMRC Clinician-Scientist. He is currently a senior consultant and head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Singapore General Hospital campus of the National Neuroscience Institute.
