Biography
Dr Dawn Chong is an Associate Consultant at the Division of Medical Oncology, National Cancer Centre Singapore. She received her undergraduate medical training at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and graduated in 2006. She subsequently obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2010. She completed her medical oncology fellowship training at the Singapore General Hospital and National Cancer Centre Singapore in 2013. Her main interest is in gastrointestinal cancers, especially colorectal cancers. She is a clinical tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and has been actively involved in the training of undergraduates and young clinicians. She has recently received the Singhealth Health Manpower Development Plan Fellowship award and is currently pursuing a fellowship in Clinical and Translational Cancer Epidemiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital (2014-2015). She has published several peer reviewed articles and her research focus includes cancer epidemiology, gastrointestinal cancers especially colorectal cancer and neuro-oncology.
