Biography
I am a R&D Senior Radiation Therapist from the Division of Radiation Oncology in National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) and Adjunct Lecturer from the School of Health Sciences in Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore. In 2007, I obtained a Diploma in Radiation therapy (Merit) from Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore. In the same year, I also received the Best Clinical Practice award from the Singapore Society of Radiographers. In 2008, I graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Health Science (Medical Radiation Technology). In 2011, I was the recipient of the Ministry of Health Reinvestment Fund Allied Health Master Scholarship. In 2013, I obtained a Master of Science in Oncology Practice (Commendation) from Kingston University London. I have developed a strong interest and firm commitment to healthcare practices and possesses an in-depth knowledge with respect to Radiation Oncology. Recently, I was awarded the Research Training Fellowship 2014 by the National Medical Research Council (NMRC), Ministry of Health, Singapore. I have experience in handling imaging related and setup uncertainties data (systematic and random setup error). In addition, I am familiar with the use of image analysis tools on Mosaiq and treatment planning systems.
Research Interest
Patient positioning and immobilization, Treatment setup errors (Systematic and Random), Motion management, Image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), Deformable image registration (DIR), Treatment planning and dosimetric studies.
