Biography
Dr Morgan Yang graduated from University College London Medical School in 1999. In Medical School, he was awarded honours for his final semester in the pre-clinical course, merit award for the MBBS final examinations in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as the Maurice Elton Memorial prize in Oncology. He obtained his MMed(Ophth) in 2006 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010. In the same year, he received his specialist accreditation as an Ophthalmologist.
Research Interest
Dr Yang’s current research interests include thyroid eye disease and tears cytokine analysis. As a resident, he was awarded first prize for the rapid fire poster presentation at the 7th Asian Angle Closure Glaucoma Club Meeting in 2009. He is involved in undergraduate teaching and holds a concurrent appointment as a Clinical Tutor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine NUS.
