Biography
Dr. Rao Jai Prashanth received his MBBS degree in Medicine from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 1999. He returned to Singapore in 2003 where he joined the Department of Neurosurgery, National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore. He was awarded his FRCSEd (SN) in 2014 and is currently an Associate Consultant in the Department of Neurosurgery, National Neuroscience Institute. He was also awarded his MSc.HPEd (Health Professions Education) by the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2015. Dr. Rao has been successful in competitive grant funding for both his Neurotechnology and Education projects. His clinical sub-specialty interests are in Cerebrovascular Surgery, Neurotrauma and Skull Base Surgery (including Pituitary Tumors).
