Biography
Dr David Tai is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at National Cancer Centre Singapore. His area of interest is in gastrointestinal cancers and early developmental therapeutics. He is currently a research fellow at University of Colorado Cancer Centre. The research focus involves integrating basic science and translational models in devising new therapy for gastrointestinal malignancies. He is also involved in multiple ongoing trials focusing mainly on gastrointestinal cancers and phase 1 efforts. He will resume his clinical duties on 1st April 2014. Dr Tai is a clinical lecturer at Yong Yoo Lin School of Medicine, Singapore. He has participated actively in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical teachings. He has mentored many medical officers/residents, guiding them for the MRCP(Int Med) examinations
