Biography
Dr Tan Ngian Chye completed his general surgical training in 2006 and went on to pursue sub-specialty training in both head and neck ablative surgery and reconstructive microsurgery. After completing his fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology with Professor Soo Khee Chee, he went on to do another fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. Currently, he is a Senior Consultant Head & Neck Surgeon, National Cancer Centre Singapore and the assistant head, clinical services in the Singhealth/Duke-NUS Head and Neck Centre. At the same time, he is the clinical lead for head & neck oncologic reconstruction and skin malignancies. Dr Tan is also a member of the NCCS Cancer Service Line development for nasopharyngeal carcinoma, thyroid cancer and head & neck cancers.
