Biography
Dr. Choon Hua Thng received his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1989 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 1996. He is a radiologist and is currently senior consultant and Head of the Division of Oncologic Imaging, National Cancer Centre, Singapore. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor with Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is a Principal Investigator holding research grants from the Singapore Cancer Syndicate (SCS-CS-0072) and the Biomedical Research Council (BMRC 08/1/31/19/577) for the use of DCE MRI for anti-angiogenic therapy and liver cancer. He has also received industrial funding for projects involving microPET and microMRI imaging of animals.

Dr Thng’s research interests include Angiogenesis imaging, DCE MRI and Hepatobiliary MRI.
