Biography
Dr Toh Chee Keong is presently a Senior Consultant at the National Cancer Centre, Singapore and graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1995. During the undergraduate years, he received several scholarships and academic medals, including the Gibb’s gold medal and Dean’s list in its first year of inception. He was rotated through the various departments during his training in Internal Medicine. In 2000, he obtained a MRCP (UK) degree. Subsequently he did advanced specialty training in Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre, Singapore (NCCS). Under the Health Manpower Development Program, he was involved in drug screening research at Burnham Institute for Medical Research at La Jolla and did a clinical attachment at the University of California, San Diego Moores Cancer Centre. As he had received grants from SingHealth Foundation and National Medical Research Council, he believes in sharing knowledge and imparting it with future generations of doctors. Through research and clinical works, Dr Toh have published several papers in journals and written a few book chapters. He is involved in many clinical trials conducted in NCCS. His special interests lie in thoracic and genitourinary oncology.
