Biography
Dr. Yinxia Chao obtained her PhD in Neuroimmunology from the National University of Singapore following 5 years' Immunology training in Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN, A-STAR) as a Postdoctral Research Fellow. Her primary research interests are involvement of peripheral immune system in the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease. Dr. Chao works as an Associate Clinician Scientist in NNI and Joint Instructor with DUKE-NUS Graduate Medical School. She is the Co-Course Director of Body& Disease Course and in charge of Immunology module.
Research Interest
Neuro-immunology, genetics of Parkinson's disease.
