Biography
A/Prof Tay is a Senior Consultant and Director of Wrist Service in the Department of Hand Surgery, Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He is also Adjunct Associate Professor in Duke-NUS Postgraduate Medical School and Program Director of Singhealth Hand Surgery Residency Program. His other appointments include Director of Biomechanics Research, Singhealth Surgery Academic Clinical Program, Director of Biomechanics Laboratory, and Director of the Wrist Analysis Research Laboratory in SGH. A/Prof Tay was a clinical fellow in Mayo Clinic from 2004-2005 and a post-doctoral research fellow in Mayo Clinic Biomechanics Laboratory from 2005-2007. He graduated with a post-doctoral Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Mayo Graduate School in 2007. A/Prof Tay has more than 50 publications and book chapters and is the principal investigator of numerous institutional and national research grants.
