Biography
Lars Kastrup is the President of APL USA and is responsible for APL’s businesses and operations in the USA. He is also a Director of the NOL Board. Prior to joining APL, Mr Kastrup has been the Head of CMA CGM Asia based in Hong Kong since 2014. He joined the CMA CGM Group in Marseille in 2007 as Senior Vice President in the Group Agency Network, and was in charge of Europe, Africa and Americas, as well as Shared Service Centers development. Before joining CMA CGM, Mr Kastrup started his career in A.P. Moller Maersk where he graduated from the Maersk Shipping School complemented by Executive Leadership Education at Pennstate and Wharton Universities. In Maersk, Mr Kastrup held several management positions in Copenhagen, Europe and Africa including Director of Line Management US Trades, Managing Director of Maersk France and Vice President-Chief Executive of France and North Africa Region. Mr Kastrup is a Director of the Board of Cheng Lie Navigation Co Ltd. and Terminal Link Sas, as well as several CMA CGM Group Companies.
