Biography
Dr Lai Weng Hong has close to 20 years of engineering and business management experience in both front and back end semiconductor design, manufacturing, testing and failure analysis. He is Director at Test Incorporated Asia Pte Ltd, which specializes in the provision of best-in-class one-stop semiconductor-related services and solutions to both local and international clientele. He also serves on SPRING Singapore Electrical and Electronic Standards Committee as Co-Convenor of Working Group for Semiconductor Devices, which mirrors the IEC TC47 workgroup, and Members of Technical Committee 1 (Electrical & Electronic Products), IEC TC94 (All or nothing electrical relays) mirror workgroup, and Expert Group on Smart Manufacturing. Prior to taking up his current roles, he served in Globalfoundries and A*STAR. He is a graduate of the National University of Singapore (NUS) with B. Eng. (Hons) and PhD in Electrical Engineering with major in Microelectronics.
