Sunil Agarwal

Biography

Sunil is a Tax Partner with the International Tax Advisory practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore. Sunil has over 18 years of experience in international tax, transfer pricing and tax consulting services. Sunil leads the Technology, Infocomm, Media and Entertainment practice of the tax division. Sunil specialises in tax restructuring and has assisted various multinationals in optimizing their taxes across the Asia Pacific region. Some of his key experience includes advising companies on restructuring of their business operations to achieve optimal tax position, assisting clients in establishing tax-efficient structures, advising clients in exploring transfer pricing planning opportunities & advising multinationals on various cross border tax issues. Sunil has closely worked with several multinationals to optimize their holding structures, financing structures and contracting structures to achieve a reduction in their overall effective tax rate. Sunil has worked extensively with the Economic Development Board (“EDB”) of Singapore and International Enterprise Singapore (“IE”) and assisted several clients to negotiate a favourable tax incentive from the EDB and IE. Sunil is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Costs & Works Accountants of India. Sunil is a regular speaker at various international tax seminars.
