Biography
Dr. Newman devotes his entire practice to facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. His medical career began at Baylor University (Waco, Texas) where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He then completed four years of medical training at the University of Texas (Austin, Texas) Medical Branch with High Honors. Dr. Newman completed his surgical internship and four year surgical residency at the prestigious Stanford University Medical Center (Palo Alto, Calif.) where he also served as chief resident, and completed his fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Stanford University, where he continues to serve on the clinical faculty. He developed a focused interest in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck and made significant contributions to the surgical literature. Dr. Newman is well known for his surgical expertise and shares his clinical experience by teaching surgical residents at Stanford University as well as authoring over 30 scientific publications related to plastic surgery and laser surgery. In addition, he continues to present scientific papers on the national and international level.
