Biography
Dr. Rey specializes in minimal scar plastic surgery. Having completed a fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess hospital, Dr. Rey employs the absolute latest, minimal scar, endoscopic, fiberoptic and laser techniques. He is keenly aware of the importance of minimal or no scars and is highly dedicated to a natural look. While the focus of this fellowship was primarily in the areas of breast and cosmetic surgery, Dr. Rey is fully trained as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and enjoys all areas of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He has attended some of the top educational institutions, including UCLA School of Medicine, Tufts University School of Medicine, Harvard University and Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. Dr. Rey has conducted academic research in both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery and has published in some of the most prestigious medical journals in the world. He has received numerous scientific honors and has served in The Office of the U.S. Surgeon General, as a health policy speech writer to Dr. C. Everett Koop.
