Biography

Dr Sujit Singh Gill is the director and consultant surgeon at The Vascular and General Surgery Centre. Dr Gill is well known for his expertise in the South East Asia region. He specializes in abdominal aortic reconstruction/repair with stent, peripheral arterial disease including state of the art minimally invasive limb salvage techniques such as angioplasty with drug-eluting balloons and stents, diabetic vascular disease, leg ulcer management, arteriovenous fistula creation (AVF) / graft /  fistulogram for end stage renal failure patients, varicose vein disease, hernia repair, piles, gall bladder disease and gastroscopy/colonoscopy.  Dr Gill received his medical degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He undertook postgraduate training at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and obtained his Masters in General Surgery also from NUS. Subsequently, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh was acquired. Dr Gill further honed his skills at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia. Upon completion of this he returned to Singapore General Hospital and completed his research on abdominal aneurysms. Dr Gill currently divides his time between Singapore General Hospital and The Vascular & General Surgery Centre. Having a passion to educate and train he has served extensively as a clinical mentor to medical students as well as regularly conducting forums to general practitioners and the public in Singapore, Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia & Myanmar. Dr Gill has also travelled to provide medical aid in the region in times of crisis.
