Biography
Dr. Carol Cheng is a board-certified Dermatologist and fellowship-trained Pediatric Dermatologist. Dr. Cheng grew up in Vancouver, Canada before obtaining her undergraduate degree from Boston University and her Doctorate of Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. She then completed an internal medicine internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center before moving back to Boston to complete her dermatology residency at the Harvard Combined Dermatology Program where she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, Dr. Cheng received additional subspecialty training in Pediatric Dermatology at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Dr. Cheng's clinical interests include all aspects of pediatric dermatology, acne, infantile hemangiomas, atopic dermatitis, and pediatric laser and surgery. Clinically, Dr. Cheng sees both adult and pediatric patients at the Santa Monica and Beverly Hills locations, and also directs the acne clinic at Westwood. She has an academic and research interest in acne and infantile hemangiomas
