Dr Yang Kuang Ying

Biography

 ·         Dr Yang Kuang-Ying is an Orthopaedic surgeon with more than 10 years of experience in the field. He currently has a private practice at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital where he specializes in joint replacement, particularly computer-assisted Orthopaedic Surgery. ·         Dr Yang graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore in 1992. Following that, he completed his basic training, specialised in Orthopaedic Surgery (FRCS Glasgow, 1998) and was later awarded the Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery Award to train at the London Health Sciences Centre in Ontario, Canada from 2002 to 2003. ·         Apart from his practice at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Dr Yang is a Consultant Arthroplasty Surgeon at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery of Singapore General Hospital (SGH). During his time at SGH, Dr Yang served in a number of administrative roles, including team leader of the Electronic Medical Records project since 1997. ·         Apart from being a practising radiation oncologist, Dr Lee has taken on the role of educator, sharing his vast knowledge and expertise with others. He has taught at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Nanyang Polytechnic and also presented at various regional conferences, including the Indonesian Colorectal Conference, the Congress of ASEAN Association of Radiology and the Ho Chih Minh Oncology Conference. Additionally, Dr Lee has published in a variety of local and international medical journals on topics such as Breast Cancer, Lymphoma and surgical treatment for Cerebral Metastases.
