Biography
Mr. Yew Huat Ong served as Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Singapore since July 2005. Mr. Ong serves as the Chairman of the Singapore Tyler Print Institute (STPI). He has been the Chairman of National Heritage Board since August 1, 2011. He serves as the Chairman at Tax Academy of Singapore. He serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd. Mr. Ong served as the Executive Chairman of Ernst & Young LLP (Singapore) until December 31, 2012. Mr. Ong has been an Independent and Non-Executive Director at United Overseas Bank Limited since January 2, 2013. He has been a Director of Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority since April 01, 2012. Mr. Ong serves as a Director of United Overseas Bank (Malaysia), a United Overseas Bank Limited subsidiary. He serves as a Director of Singapore Power.
