Biography
Ian has 20 years’ experience in the sugar industry, 10 of which have been with Wilmar Sugar. He joined the company (then CSR Sugar) in 2004 as Commercial Manager, before moving into his current role as GM Agriculture. Ian is responsible for overseeing management of Wilmar Sugar’s Australian sugarcane farms, is director of four regional productivity boards and Australian Molasses Trading, and co-ordinates the agricultural technical input required for Wilmar’s overseas sugar ventures. Ian has previously held roles with Bundaberg Sugar, rural lender QIDC and Queensland Cotton.
