Biography
Mr Juan R. Luciano, 56, is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer and President of Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM). ADM is one of the world’s leading agricultural processors and food-ingredient providers. Mr Luciano joined ADM in 2011 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was named President of ADM in February 2014, and was appointed CEO in January 2015. He became Chairman of the Board in January 2016. Mr Luciano previously spent 25 years at The Dow Chemical Company, where he last served as Executive Vice President and President of the Performance division. Mr Luciano serves on the boards of directors of Eli Lilly and Company, and Intersect Illinois, a non-profit economic development organization created by Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner. He is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and the Commercial Club of Chicago. He also serves as a Governor of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. He holds an industrial engineering degree from the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology. Mr Luciano was appointed to the Board on 20 June 2012 and was last re-elected on 24 April 2015.
