Biography
Chris Jefferis was appointed Interim Group President with responsibility for the Company’s Spine, Dental, Craniomaxillofacial and Thoracic businesses effective September 2017. Mr. Jefferis has served as Vice President, Finance for the Spine, Dental and Craniomaxillofacial and Thoracic businesses since August 2016. He joined the Company (then Zimmer) in 1988, and has held positions of increasing responsibility since that time, including Director, Americas Finance and Vice President, Global Integration, as well as various positions in the EMEA finance organization. Prior to joining Zimmer, Mr. Jefferis served in accounting roles for British Telecom and McKecknie Engineering. He has more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, planning and analysis, cost accounting and project management. Mr. Jefferis holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Southampton University in the United Kingdom and is qualified from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
