Biography

With almost three decades of experience in executive search, Preety is acknowledged for her wealth of knowledge and commitment to fulfilling complex, global mandates for clients across industries and especially in Consumer, Telecom, Media and Industrial sectors. She primarily leads CEO appointments and Board mandates at Amrop India. Given her deep understanding of leadership matters and clients’ talent issues, she is also sought as a trusted advisor on External Succession, Board Advisory, and what’s next in the world of leaders. She started her career as an HR Practitioner with the Eicher Group. Preety is an active contributor in prominent industry forums such as AMCHAM, India Strategy Forum, etc. She speaks on a wide range of leadership topics including women entrepreneurship, professionalization in family-owned companies, leadership in globalizing mid-caps, leading in uncertain times, etc. She chaired the Corporate Governance Task Force at FICCI for 2 years. Preety also has several industry recognitions to her credit and serves as an Independent Director on the Advisory Board of Sanmar Group and TERI. Preety is an Honors graduate in Psychology and holds an MBA with specialization in Human Resources from University Business School, Chandigarh.
