Biography

 Martin Santa is the Independent consultant for public & private sector on inter-institutional affairs. Focused primarily on business & policies within the Eurozone and the European Union. Core business targets strategic profile & reputation building via external communication.    Current partners & client include Slovakia's finance minister Peter Kažimír, O2 Slovakia CEO Peter Gažík and European Investment Bank Vice-President Vazil Hudák.   Previously served as financial attaché at Slovakia's permanent representation to the European Union - covering financial services, bank system restructuring and the Capital Markets Union (CMU) project.    Before landing in Brussels (again) leading media team at the finance ministry of the Slovak republic, strategic ex-ante & spot communication, adviser to the finance minister for communication, euro zone and ECB.    Spent 10 years as Reuters EU correspondent covering key political, economic, financial, corporate, environmental and sport events. Covering bond and treasury bills markets, key macroeconomic indicators (GDP growth, foreign trade. European Central Bank policy, the National Bank of Slovakia. Member of a wider group of the euro zone Reuters reporters in charge of the ECB
