Biography
Martin SlobodnÃk, PhD., Is a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy of the UK (Chinese Language and Culture, 1994). In 2007, he habilitated a professor in the field of general history. In 2016, he was appointed Professor of Oriental Languages ​​and Culture. It deals with the history of Chinese-Tibetan relations and religious politics in China. In 1994-2000 he worked in the Institute of Oriental Studies of the SAS. In 2005, as a scholar of the Humboldt Foundation, he studied at the University of Bonn. He has received several domestic and foreign grants (Jan Hus Education Foundation, Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholar Exchange, Academy of Korean Studies). From 2007 to 2007, he was the Head of the Department of East Asia Studies. The Vice-Dean's post for the Faculty's development and information technology has been in place since June 1, 2013.
