Biography
He was appointed as Chairman of the Board on 4 January 2012 and then appointed to the Board on 1 June 2010 as a non-Executive Director. He is Chairman and a member of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee. Gareth is currently chairman of Ferguson plc (formerly Wolseley plc) and William Hill PLC (he is expected to step down from this role before William Hill's 2018 AGM). He was previously Group Chief Executive of Imperial Tobacco Group PLC.
