Biography
Appointed to the Board on 1 December 2009 as a non-Executive Director, appointed Senior Independent Director on 4 July 2012, Chairman and member of the Audit Committee. Member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committees. He is Chairman of Shaftesbury Plc and Senior Independent Director of Ibstock PLC. He was previously Group Finance Director of Hanson Plc and was most recently Group Finance Director of Old Mutual Plc. He was a non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Great Portland Estates plc and a non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of SIG plc.
