Biography

Jan Griffiths oversees Inteva Product’s global supply chain management function, encompassing purchasing and supplier quality. Known for her progressive strategies and dynamic team leadership style, she has a proven track record for execution that supports Inteva’s end customers across all product lines: interior systems, roof systems, closure systems, and motors and electronics. Her innovative thinking creates a passionate and collaborative business environment. Accomplishments across Griffiths career include leading supply chain restructuring initiatives resulting in improved cost performance, increased early supplier engagement, and stronger supplier relationships. Her methods involve fully leveraging global entities’ resources and developing program management disciplines to support flawless product launches, with the ultimate goal of providing competitive advantage for the business. Griffiths joined Inteva in 2014, and was named to Automotive News’ list of 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry in 2015.

Research Interest

Griffiths is an influential industry speaker and supporter of organizations such as Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP) which connects youth to the best science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) educational experiences in Michigan. She is an advocate for the Michigan Center for Empowerment and Economic Development (MI CEED) which focuses on the growth and maintenance of women-owned businesses. Griffiths has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Swansea Metropolitan University in Swansea, Wales, U.K.
