Biography
Steven Galle leads Inteva's global Operations team and is responsible for the company's day-to-day manufacturing and assembly sites worldwide serving as the driver of lean processes and systems. Prior to joining Inteva, Galle was the Chief Operating Officer for Sundance Products, LLC. He began his career at General Motors in 1990 as a student co-op while attending Kettering University in Flint, MI. Galle held several positions in the Vandalia Operations at the former Inland Fisher Guide (IFG) Division of GM including manufacturing supervisor, manufacturing engineer, and general supervision. In 1997, Galle was promoted to Focused Factory Manager at the former IFG facility in Anderson, IN. Following this assignment, he served as a senior staff assistant and divisional lean sensei as part of the Delphi Manufacturing System staff. In 2000, he was named the Assistant Plant Manager for the former Delphi Columbus Operations, and in 2002 he was named Plant Manager for the Delphi Adrian Operations. He returned to Columbus in 2003 as the Plant Manager. In 2006, Steve was named site director for the former Delphi Moraine Operations.
Research Interest
Galle received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1992 from Kettering, followed by a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Dayton in 1996. He is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt, Shainin Red X Apprentice
