Biography
Member of the Board of Directors from 29 April, 2010 Member of the Finance and Risk Management Committee Mr. Járai has been working as a financial expert for many years. He has held various managerial positions in a Commercial Banks both in Hungary and abroad. He was serving as Chairman of Budapest Stock Exchange from 1996 to 1998. Between 1998 and 2000, he held the position of the Minister of Finance, and subsequently became the Chairman of the National Bank of Hungary from 2001 until 2007. As the founder of CIG Pannonia Life Insurance Ltd. in 2007, he was the Chairman of the Supervisory Board between 2007 and 2013. Since 2010, he has also been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the National Bank of Hungary.
