Biography
He works as the Independent Director (2012 - Present), Emeritus professor at the National University of Seoul (1986 - present), President of IEEE Communications Society (2010-2011), Commissioner of Korea Communications Commission (2008 - 2010), President of the Korea Information and Communication Society (KICS) (2007 - 2007), President of the Korea Society of Engineering Education (KSEE) (2003 - 2004), Vice Rector for Research at the National University of Seoul (2000 - 2002), Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the National University of Seoul (1986-2016) and Member of Technical Staff of AT & T Bell Laboratories (1984-1986).
