Biography
Josef Hycl, M.D. is the renowned Czech eye microsurgeon, co-founder of the eye clinics NeoVize Brno and NeoVízia Bratislava, medical director of both clinics. He performed a surgical procedure of correcting a refractive error with the method femtoLASIK on the chief doctor Radovan PiovarÄi in 2010.Dr. Josef Hycl is a graduate from the Faculty of General Medicine of Charles University in Prague. Dr. Hycl passed the first and second degrees of the qualification examination in eye surgery. After his graduation he worked at the Eye Clinic of the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague and at the Lexum Eye Clinic. He worked abroad as well - he worked for the prestigious clinic of Ultralase in Great Britain and in the London Centre for Refractive Surgery. During his practice he worked as the Chief of Staff at the Eye Department of the General Teaching Hospital, the Chief of Staff at the Lexum Eye Clinic, an assistant specialist at the Lexum Eye Clinic and the medical director of the Lexum Eye Clinic.
