Biography
Dr. Katarína Sokolová focuses on the diagnostics of refractive errors, diseases of the retina, diagnostics with the help of OCT and the fundus camera, diagnostics of the anterior segment of the eye, treatment of inflammatory diseases of the eye, the treatment of glaucoma and neuroophthalmological. She is a professional conciliar physician in the so- called cross-industry collaboration. She focuses on the diagnostics of ophthalmic disorders, which are a sign or a result of another systemic disease (hematological, neurological, cardiovascular diseases, rheumatological, immunological). She has performed surgeries of astigmatism, assisted on intraocular surgeries, independently performed laser surgeries - NdYAG capsulotomy, SLT, extraocular surgeries, blepharoplasty surgeries.
